Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. The father of her is Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother has Spanish and English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan that included six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. At the age of 16 she left school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her goals were realized when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
