Fearless wound up having considerable appeal not just in the U.S. where it racked up six platinum singles thanks to Top Ten hits Love Story and Belong with Me Belong with Me but throughout the world, with a particular success within Australia, U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift's new album Speak Now, released just two years after the previous one, built on this momentum. It propelled Swift into the spotlight. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, the popularity of Swift grew, and she became part of a world of pop music where it was clear that she belonged. Even though she had slowed the production of her folklore album, and Evermore released in 2020, she was nevertheless leading the way in pop music.
